Yoga is now offered at the park district. Whether you are new to Yoga or have experience, we have a class for you!

Yoga Fundamentals
This class is for anyone! If you are looking to slow down your practice a bit and get back to the basics or are wanting to learn about breath (pranayama) as well as yoga postures, this class is perfect for you. Students will learn to move with their breath, become more self aware in their movements and be challenged to feel new sensations. Each class is 60 minutes in length. Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle. A yoga block is optional. For ages 18+

Location: Park District building at 390 South Ave.
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 6:15-7:15pm

Session 1: April 30- June 18 (8 weeks)
Session 2: July 2- August 20 (8 weeks)

Yin Yoga
This practice holds poses anywhere from 2-10 minutes to allow a deep stretch into the connective tissue within the body. Each class will begin with a 5 minute semi-guided meditation before moving onto the postures. Students are encouraged to go inward and observe their natural breath during this very calming, grounding and meditative practice. Each class is 60 minutes in length. Please bring a yoga mat. For ages 18+

Yoga Bundle (8 weeks)
This bundle includes 8 weeks of both the above mentioned classes, Yoga Fundamentals and Yin Yoga on Tuesday evenings back to back for a discounted price! For ages 18+
