Ralph Seyller Memorial Park
Ralph Seyller Memorial Park is located at 400 E. Jefferson Ave. This park includes a pavilion, a large playground, horseshoe pits, and permenant restrooms. Nestled in the shade trees along a walking path, this park is a great location for your next gathering!
NEW IN 2017! You can now rent the Fire Truck Playground area at Seyller Park for 2017 that will include a port-o-let and three picnic tables. This location is great for small birthday parties!
Bruce Ream Memorial Park
We are excited to announce that we are the recipient of an OSLAD (Open Space Land Acquisition & Development) Grant from IDNR (Illinois Department of Natural Resources) for the Bruce Ream Park re-development!!! IDNR has awarded the Park District $375,400 towards the development of the new playground, splash pad, shared-use path with fitness stations, sand volleyball court, sled/exercise hill, basketball/bankshot/pickelball court, soccer turf improvements, parking lot improvements, and ADA repairs to the existing restrooms. We have also received grant funding from the Kane County Riverboat Grant for the playground equipment and trees at this location.
As of December 2016, the playground and splash pad equipment has been selected and construction documents are in the works. We plan to start construction in early spring and will be hosting a supervised community build day in the spring. Dorthy J. Schmidt Memorial Park
Dorothy J. Schmidt Park is a neighborhood park that has two pavilions, two playground, a basketball court, limestone walking path, disc golf course and shuffleboard courts. Parking is on-street and no bathrooms are located at this site but can be rented.
Tuscany Woods Park
Twenty-eight acres make up Tuscany Woods Park, located at 1363 Romke Road, currently has a off-street parking lot and two youth baseball fields. Please see the attached conceptual drawing for the future park development plan.
